About
The Center for Civic Justice provides services, support and coordination for programs and opportunities that cultivate, develop and empower active and engaged Seawolves to positively contribute to the betterment of their communities through awareness, advocacy and action.
We are committed to developing engaged local and global citizens. In order to do this, we provide voter engagement, community service, and educational opportunities that are meaningful and make a positive impact.
Housed within the Center for Civic Justice is the Stony Brook Food Pantry!
The Stony Brook University Food Pantry serves community members of the Stony Brook University community who are food insecure, or who are at risk of food insecurity. We are committed to being a reliable and stable supplemental food source for those who are combating food insecurity while providing resources to overcome food insecurity.
Our shelves are stocked with healthful options for students, staff and faculty in need of supplemental food. We look forward to serving you!
